i use Ram Mount cup holder. I also use ram mounts for my phone bout and other misc items that I don't want to be permanent and can be removed. I use their 1" ball with a threaded stud .
I remove the existing bolts under the dash and replace with a 5/16" stud that attaches to the ball.
If anyone is interested I can take a few photos.
