Default thumbnail pics and full page pics?

when I uploaded a photo of my car, it posted as a thumbnail. I see others posts are thumbnails too, but some post full page pics, thereby not requiring having to click the thumbnail to see a full sized image. How do I get a full sized image posted?

thanks

I am working on figuring this out also. I thought postinmg them from my downloaded album pic's was the answer, but so far I have not been able to do that. Going to try something else in the morning. Rod

What am I doing wrong? I attach photo from my album using the URL box and it says Invalid File. I am copying anp pasting, which should be the same as trying to type it in. Need some help. No problem attaching them off of my puter and uploading. But would like to post things other than Thumbnails. Rod

Looks like the HTML code is off, is that the problem? If so how do I fix that? Rod

Ok, if you are copying a photo from the gallery, you need to get to know this button:

See it up there? In your text editor?

Hit that sucker, a window will pop up, and you paste your image URL into that window.

Done.

Let me bring this back up (eleven years later). I can only post thumbnails and don't see how to post full size.

What am I doing wrong? Or what am I missing when attaching a photo?

I believe the picture size may be tied to the resolution of the picture in the file. I am very new to Ford Barn... so this post may go awry... but I'm trying. The first two pictures below show how I loaded pictures from my computer. The limit on *.jpg pictures is 800x600 resolution (which is what the first 2 pictures are). The last picture should show up very small as it has only 117x192 resolution. Here it goes!

Trying "Insert image" with the URL of a picture (a Model A). Will it work?

Mike, after you post your photos, all someone has to do is click on them and they open full size. Could be size of photo or where you are loading them from. I do desk top, so don't know the ins and outs of other devices. I load from Manage Attachments and go from there.

Yeah. That's the way I see it.

In the "old days" pix could be loaded so that they showed up full size in the post without having to click on them.

Oh well; I guess it doesn't work any more.

Then there are the full-sized photos that you still have to click on to see the whole photo, because the one shown in the message are huge. Could be something has changed and just have not noticed. I just loaded the two from my saved photos from my desktop, they too show as thumbnails.
Yes they are the same car as my avatar photo.
