Looking for a pair of the stamped steel, threaded bumper guard mounts.

Turn a '40 Ford bumper guard over, look at the back side. It's that "thing" the outer bumper guard "ears" are folded over on, that a mounting bolt threads into to hold the bumper and guard to the vehicle.

Those mounts usually crumble into powdery rust, or the mounting "nut" gets cobbled welded in a feeble fix attempt.

Does anybody have a pair of "destroyed" 40 Ford bumper guards that has a nice mounting plate and nut?

Or, does some one know who the person or outfit is that re-popps the guards, that I may contact to see about getting those mounting plates before they are fastened into the guard?
