Default 32 Pickup Tail lamp mounting

Hi I have a new Mack Products deck & I'm hoping someone can give me the distance from the very back of the bed to the centre hole of the tail lamp bracket so I can get it mounted in the correct spot.

Would someone also be able to post a photo showing the mounting under the bed side. Do the 32s have a brace from the bed side flange to the sub frame like the 34 Pickup?

Thanks for your help,
Phil.

I could email you some pics. they always seem too big to go on here. Our pickup has the original deck , but I think someone has added a second tail light as I think the RHS one is model A. Oh ours is a very early LHD 32 .

Early '32 pickups had only the outer brackets at the rear ends of the chassis frame to support the bed. Inner support brackets were added as a running change later in the model year's production. Both are shown in the photos below.

David, Thanks for the reply & photos. I have both of those brackets.
It's the original mounting of the tail lamp under the deck that I need a photo of.
Thanks.

I know what your talking about but here in the states we call them bed sides. I had a picture but can't find it at this time.

O,K. check this site; www.pewsplace.com. Check the "For Sale" items and look at the '32 pickup. Great shot of the taillamp mounting on the left side. There's also a drawing plus some photos in the "Early Ford V-8 as Henry Built It" book that show the tail lamp. No measurements, but it appears that the mounting is about halfway between the fender and the end of the bed.
