Default Late 1939 deluxe headlights...sealed beam

Rare find!! Well more of joke.

Got a 39 deluxe front clip out of the woods today. Was off a old hotrod custom paint with flames!!.

This was someone crude seal beam conversion. They chopped the back out of the stock buckets and attached 48 ford aluminum buckets. The aluminum buckets survived pretty good.

Fenders are savable , the grill is rough but has most of the stainless strips. Hood was rotten but had some trim.

I bet that hot rodder was pretty proud of his conversion right up till he put the '39 lens back on!

Woulda been a whole lot easier just to swap the 39 headlight assemblies for 40
