Default Trunk lid opening

On my 29 Coupe I don't feel that the deck lid opens far enough. Tried of bumping my head. Question is, Any vendor make a prop bracket that will allow the deck to open a little higher. Other Question, Has anyone used a gas prop like they use on cars ?

Than you for the pictures, Could you provide the length of the gas shocks. Were the mount holes already in your deck lid ? Do the shocks have a rating ?

Not sure on the length i bought
But i measured from the holes that the rumble hinge was bolted in and the trunk hold up latch
You can probably get away with one
I will get pics of the spot where they are attached
