Default U Joint Installation

I will be reinstalling U joint and would like to know how much grease to repack assembly with. I plan on using JD Corn Head Grease. It is a polyurea base grease that is thixsotopic which allows the grease to flow and recirculate within the U joint cavity. Searching other threads most say pump grease through zerk until it starts to exit speedo connector. I have seen photos of an assembly without the covers where the U joint is completely packed in grease before installation. What is the best way?

Pack joint with grease and then pump into cavity as explained, about a tube in total. If you pump in too much it'll go into the transmitter.

Auto correct again!

If on a Mac here is how you can turn it off:
Open System Preferences (choose Apple > System Preferences).
Choose Keyboards.
Click the Text tab.
Deselect the tick in Correct Spelling Automatically.

Typed as I spelled it. If the rear bearing is an original style, u-joint grease can slip past into the transmitter. The transmitter is that little gizmo between the flywheel housing and the clamshell that some folks refer to as a transmission.
