Well at the very least i am in the shop working on stuff somewhat . I am doing ok on Dialysis three days a week (had over 200 treatments ) i treat it as a part time job i guess !!
The treatment leave me pretty tired for that day but i usually bounce back pretty quick... . I fell i the garage June 9th fracturing my humous bone in right shoulder , been in a sling ever since , the fall took stiches and i am healed up pretty good from that . For therapy i started building a Model T speedster from spare parts aquired etc . I have a new face book page for that project on face book its called 1920 Ford, heres the llnk for you facebook dudes. https://www.facebook.com/1920-FORD-113916660368990 I have refered all chevrolet conversion distributors to Charlie here on the barn after building 2722 of them i have out lived three machine shops and they became too much trouble just getting stuff done .... Charlie will treat ya right ... Charlie is [email protected] Terry my part time guy is still here three days a week and we are down to 4-5 old orders getting them done as we can . Have a couple new orders from guys that can wait until we get to it . We still want to do SOME just stock early Ford distributors if ya can wait . I tell people i am OK but maybe not alright!!!!!! Hanging in there!!! my therapy........not wife approved ?? |

Bubba, I'm glad to hear that you are doing what you can. I know the problems of dialysis, too. Sometimes I come home after dialysis, and I am too tired to do anything. Just keep on keeping on. nick.

Re: Latest bubba report
As the owner of one of your 2722 Chevy conversions thanks for the update. Sounds like you are making the best of things. Look forward to your speedster build although I'm not on Facebook. Stay safe.

Jim.....Do only what you like, you've earned all the fun years ahead of you and there
will be many. I'm most fortunate that all machine work on my conversions is done in house. I thank you for the referrals and I promise I won't let you down. Latest batch of 50 or so conversions set to go out later this month. Nick the Bandit ( Mr dialysis ) says Hello ! Charlie ny |

Re: Latest bubba report
Bubba, glad to hear you are keeping it going, your garage therapy looks perfect. i put in one of your chevy/flathead dist conversions around 9 years ago. i dawned on me i might want to get replacement points/condensor/ cap and rotor. i have my original paperwork and i've found the points and condensor at napa online. the D308R cap and D426R rotor do not seem to be working on napa online. maybe bubba or one of his friends on here could help me with a napa number for the distributor cap and rotor? my distributor has worked perfect since install. thanks, dick r.

Re: Latest bubba report
I'm glad to hear that you're all right. I know I am deathly afraid of falling these days. I am very careful and watch my feet constantly.
I think the "T" will be good therapy. Keep us posted on any significant progress. |
