Fred Dagg died today,a great comedian,
remember gum boots for sheep,10 hr days etc
He will be missed.

Brian I remember when he said we were going to metric time,10hr days 10 day weeks etc.

Yeah, I remember a sketch on TV, where he came across Rowling [prime minister at the time] broken down in a Landrover. Fred helped him get it going; we saw him pull all this crap out from under the hood; engine parts, including a FORD FLATHEAD head gasket, after which the 'rover started up and drove off. Now this is a flathead related topic!
