Default I wrote this on the model A for him also

I ordered a power chair for my wife FedEx brought it today they wanted $240 to unload it with their left gate. Freight is high enough the way they gouge you I don't feel that a charge for a lift gate is necessary

Was the driver just trying to make some illicit dollars on the side??

If you weren't home would they have left a bill?! I would have told them to just complete the delivery while you watched, and they could just forget to use the lift if they wanted to.

I don't think this happens with Fed-X. It may have been a Scam the driver came up with, to pocket the money, Himself. It doesn't pass the smell test ! We have to wait on getting a lift with the engines that come here, I have NEVER been charged for it. I would have called the company, and told them what is going on.
