Default 1940 headlights 12 volt

Does anyone have the part numbers for replacement sealed beams. I don't want to blow a head gasket at O'reillys. No I dont have powersteering!

FOR WHAT????two light-4 light - round square size???
sylvania 6006 6 volt is under $10.00 if that is what you are looking for
Ok I see you need 12 volt probably less for them

6012 was the number in the old days. Maybe still available. Also try 6014, and 6024 which I believe are halogens. DD

Yes, get the 7" round 12V. Halogen sealed beam H6024

I heard they no longer make the regular old seal beam that all thats available now is halogen. Is that right?

A little more "internet info".........means it must be true scoop! DD

The 6012 is 50/40 watts High/low beam.
The 6014 is 60/50 watts high/low beam.

The 6012 is difficult to find any more. The 6014 was used as a replacement for the 6012 over the years and can still be found.

The H6024 is the Halogen replacement for the 6014 and is rated at 65/35 watts.

Just bought a pair when I converted my p/u to 12 volts. My local parts store had them in stock. Any good parts supplier should have them.
