V8 clutch on Model A
When using a V8 clutch and pressure plate on a Model A is it required to change the throw out bearing too?

Thanks Brent
I'll just use my old T O bearing then. |

Re: V8 clutch on Model A
Cost of a new TO bearing is nothing compared to having to replace it at a later date.

Don't Panic!
Everything is new. I'm installing a 0 miles touring rebuild in a fresh restoration and am using a V8 clutch on the lightened flywheel. I just wanted to know if the T O bearings were the same or did the V8 clutch require a different one since the V8 pressure plate is a three fingered one. My "old" model a one is also new. |

Re: V8 clutch on Model A
The bearing is the same.
I never replace good parts on my own car. I ask the customer what he wants to do about the good parts. They usually want a new bearing put in. |
