Re: Klingberg vintage car festival
Russ Whitney from Windham NH who is my Model A mentor will have his 1906 Autocar in the Concours section of the show. It's the only known surviving example of this car & it's a hoot riding around in it - gives you an experience of what it was like being in the navigator's seat in those early race cars!
Really looking forward to attending this event as there are expected to be around 400 cars in the show along with the Concours section. |

Re: Klingberg vintage car festival
Unfortunately this year I will miss it, as I will be at the Shakespeare and Company for the Berkshire British Motorcar Festival.

Re: Klingberg vintage car festival
My Avatar and myself had a great time today at the show, We both came home looking like cooked lobsters! Thank you to all the Ford Barners that stopped by and said hello! So many amazing vehicles attend this show for a great cause. The 1931 is Flamingo's Paul and the 1929 is mine!

Re: Klingberg vintage car festival
It was an incredable day, and cooked lobsters is correct. I left this show (8am-245PM) and went to another (4-830PM) and picked up a trophy (250+ cars) so quite a day for me pre-father's day.

Re: Klingberg vintage car festival
Me and my sons really enjoyed this show. I saw some cars that i've never even heard of.
It was nice meeting 1931 Flamingo, and spdway1. Got my picture taken with Wayne Carini from Chasing Classic Cars. Super nice guy. Tommy- |

Re: Klingberg vintage car festival
Met Don at the show & I think his wife was getting tired of being asked if she was the avatar girl!
Apparently he does have a few others (not r-rated) that he will send via private message! The show was really great - lots of unique & rare cars and as always lots of people willing to talk about them for hours on end! There were some nice Model As from the MARC club up in the Concours & pre-war area. If the trailer Gods are good to me this year I will definitely be back next year |
