Default Dizzy rebuild

I need to rebuild my dizzy. Any recommendations? Working on a 57 312.

I believe a fellow barner, dmsfrr might have a contact who rebuilds Y block dissys.

It's my understanding that Pertronix now makes a distributor for the Y-Block. I don't know if that would be a consideration or not for you, but it is an option. The problem is not only finding someone willing and able to rebuild a distributor, sourcing all the individual parts necessary for a serviceable rebuild is getting difficult.

Last time I checked, Pertronix did not offer 6 volt dissys...only 12 volt.

You might be right, but it's a moot point, by 1957 the 312 was 12 volts so everything is groovy.

He's in Phoenix and has rebuilt a couple '57 (T-Bird) distributors for me. Nice looking work and a reasonable price, especially considering what they sell for.
