1st time wheels off? 36 colonial cab.
Id like to check some gentle binding on the left rear wheel. I am also keen to check the brakes. I would appreciate guidance on how to remove and refit those axle nuts and everything related before I dive in and stuff it up.
Thanks in advance. Dave NZ |

Re: 1st time wheels off? 36 colonial cab.
The nuts are easy.
It's getting the hubs off that can be difficult. Use a puller of the correct type that pulls on the circular recess at the centre of the hub. You need to beg borrow or make a puller of that type. In one of my videos where I am repairing my 41 pickup rear axle I show how to use a correct type puller and how tight the hubs should be. Mart. |

I have been posting videos with a lot of early Ford content. I hope you may find them useful or at least entertaining. The puller in the video came from Vintage Precision. Mart. |
