Where is the horn relay located on a 1966 Lincoln
Horns do not work, checked horns, will sound if 12 volt is connected. Removed the center cover of steering wheel, have continuity. Cannot find the horn relay, I have a service manual, but it does not show were the relay is located. This is a Convertible car, thanks Bruce

Re: Where is the horn relay located on a 1966 Lincoln
I found this on a Lincoln site, maybe it will help.....
I have a '61 and the fuses are located in the "Power Box." You will find it mounted on the firewall on the passenger side. The battery cable connects to this box which contains all relays and fuses. If you cannot find fuses on your '66 check for a power box. -Ken- Sign in to reply 12/13/96Leon Rowell On my '69 Mark III it is in the glove box behind a plastic cover on the right side. Luckily mine was off when I bought it. There is also a set of circuit breakers, and other electrical components behind the passenger side kick panel. Just remove the carpet, and it'll be there. That's where I found the fuse for the horn (go figure). It's an interesting vehicle. Tons of spaghetti to get lost in. The fun starts when you have to go through the vacume hoses. Dennis N.
