Default Ignition cable question

What is the proper length of the ignition cable for a 28-29 without the ends. I have a decent looking cable that is missing the switch end and I want to make sure it is the right length before I go in search of a switch end to put on it. All I have to compare it to is an AR banana cable. Thanks Rod

About 26-1/2" give or take without ends on it, just the cable. When put together with both ends on the cable it is 28-29/32" to 29-5/32" from the center line of the wire connection on the switch end to the end of the threads on the distributor end, this is 29-29 cable. 30-31 is longer by about 3" give or take.

Thanks Looks like I can use this cable as soon as I can find a switch end in the parts barn. Rod
