Default Installing side curtain tracks in 36 woodie

Got 8 of the brass curtain tracks re-installed in the rear doors. Had to fabricate one missing straight track. Took them out for varnishing the wood. When the curtains are not used you can slide them up under the roof. Each door has 2 straight tracks in the door and 2 curved ones in the roof wood. Curtains reside in the tracks. Took me a couple trys to get the design for the curtains right.Hard to picture how the curtains work without pictures. Sometime in 36 Ford started installing sliding windows for the rear doors and quarters. Considered installing sliding windows but the wood just isn't thick enough IMHO. Is this a 36 only feature or was it done the same way in 35?

BTW my 36 has perfect wood from 1936. Fixed an ugly mortise in the rear corner posts and a slight amount of rot. Has a few stray extra curtain attachment posts.

You've done very well by your '36. I hope any future caretaker appreciates your efforts! I face a very small portion of your challenges owning a Phaeton of the same year. We have to love the wind to love these cars, wouldn't you say?

While I was driving the car I didn't care about side curtains, won't ride it in the rain anyway. Lots of wind for the rear passengers. The kids like to ride in the third seat. I'm selling so getting some curtains made. Will try bring a trailer this time.

I'm not the best owner. I don't mind the rain in my Phaeton. Except for the the ten side curtain parts to install, and the clean-up.
