What was the cost of a 160-C Slant Window at the dealer in 1931?

I refer to the book "Henry's Fabulous Model A, by Leslie Henry. It quotes the price of the 160C at $630.

Katy, That conversion table is interesting. What has happened to our dollar? I was interested in seeing the rate of inflation in the mid 80's. I'm a retired banker and I remember when the 6 month market certificates hit 15.88%. The retired folks took all of that rate that they could, but then asked why their kids couldn't afford to buy a house.

So, the ones we see going for 10K now are about the same as when new.
