1940 Engine ID help
Looking to find out more info about my engine
ID number located driver side, front of intake manifold machine surface as follows # c u 73339 The " c u" may or may not be accurate. Engine still in the car can't see the above the bell housing location Tks Gents |

Those are not numbers applied by Ford during manufacture. They are most likely applied by a rebuilder or perhaps by some agency to identify that particular engine.
