Default brought home some new parts

I went to purchase a merc crank and pistons. Turned out to be nice Ford so I bought them as well as this nice surprise.
I was told it had 3000k or about 2000 miles on it. Also told the carbs were brand new at that time they were installed. Are there any indicators to tell if these are in fact the NEW 97's as opposed to older rebuilds. Also I am sure there are to many springs. Thanks Bill

That's a pretty neat idea for mounting the fuel pressure regular.
