Is Sacramento Vintage Ford really moving or are they closing for good ?

They say they are moving to a smaller building. There was a recent article about it in Cruisin' News. I suspect the downsizing will mean they will use the internet for sales and not have a lot of inventory on hand. You'll probably see the parts drop shipped from their suppliers.

Ya, I get the same impression, their fill rate has been really bad for quite some time, I guess it will get worse, sad !!

I use C and G Parts or All Ford Parts. They usually have everything in stock and ship as fast as Sacramento

Hey Dave,
For several years, Sac Vin Ford is only old car supplier that I dealt with. Good service, good parts and good selection. So good, in fact, that I actually stopped in to fill a wants list that was written in anticipation of passing nearby their business. Oh, and great catalogue.

Several years later, not so much of any of the above accolades were true/accurate. So much so, that I stopped doing any business with them.
Too bad, IMO. What happened, don't know all reason(s), but lack of inventory was one reason.

Was once nice reliable needed old car parts business

I would imagine that it cost a lot for that building. Lots of wasted space for a business trying to make money. Lots of cool stuff, and was fun to visit.
