Re: Ebay Model A parts prices
A seller can ask any price no matter how ridiculous. This points out how lucky those of you are that are an easy drive to the many swap meets. Living out here in paradise, has its draw backs. I don't know of any swap meets in this part of the country. The closest ones are at least a 2 day trip.

Re: Ebay Model A parts prices
Trouble is if they have it as best offer and start at a crazy high price no one is going to bother to make an offer because one would probable rightly guess a realistic offer would not be accepted.

Re: Ebay Model A parts prices
I'm just sad that most of the items I'm interested in are "local pickup only" and then they aren't local to me!

Re: Ebay Model A parts prices
My best guess is these guys have a wife wanting that "junk out of here!".
So....the parts get listed....and don't sell....and the guy just sits there with a smile all over his face. Stranger things have happened! Gil NoCal |

Re: Ebay Model A parts prices
true - mainly because everything produced nowadays is meant to be thrown away...its hard to name one thing made today that once its worn out or broken its cheaper to buy a new one than to fix the old one.

Re: Ebay Model A parts prices
You sold Vermin? Never thought I'd see the day, I know it wasn't because of greed, maybe we're all just getting older.

Re: Ebay Model A parts prices
cheap parts are out there but will sell quick. i listed a working genarator for 60 it sat for a week and a guy offered me 50 through ebay. most people list parts to sell but then they do so they are only visable for a short time. i always say if you want a deal it will take 2 weeks to 2 months of searches.
