Default spark plug wire conduit ID?

This is an odd one to me. Any idea what it's for?
Note there are only two holes on the side of the tube.

Air compressor? Didn't they run on 4 and pump on 4 (2 on each side).

Kube, seems like there was a thread back awhile about this and the crossover wires not being in the tubes. If I remember correctly there were some photos. And then I could just be having faulty memory!!

I believe these were the originals used with the 'crab' type distributor. one plug lead from each side crossed over to the other, and the lead was covered with that rope- like material.

Mike,
Those are C21A Tubes. I have 2 NOS Canadian Military engines with those tubes. They are 1942 but carry a Canadian number. The ones on my engine have a metal tag with the Part# They are for use with the 1942 Crab type cap.

Methinks we don't have this one (mine) identified as yet. Mine has two holes, period. Both face the cylinder head.

Mike your photo shows one on the intake side as well, or are my eyes misleading me?

LOL!!
The RH (opposite) side would have that inner hole all the way at the front of the tube.. It still may seem confusing to others that there are three holes 4 four wires, but the rearmost wires exit out the rear of the conduits.

Mike, PS if you need a RH, we have something like 75 or 80 NOS RH's but no LH's

Ha! That Driscoll kid might even be way MORE-smarter than we first thought! Goes to show y'all the knowledge and attention to detail one can expect when dealing with the Third Gen crew in Tennessee! DD
