Default Flag holder trailer hitch receiver install

I have seen these for sale it is a 2" reciever (for flags "wink")
Says it replaces rear cross member.

Would that work on a 29 CCPU ?

Would like to use for Flag or a cargo carrier... Light stuff only.

Thanks

They are still in business. I just talked to Mr Werner on the phone last week. Since pickups did not come with rear bumpers, and the bumper brackets for cars don’t work without some modifications, some imagination is required. Once that little obstacle has been overcome it’s pretty much straight forward.

Dave,
I’ll try and get you some pictures of my installation as soon as I can get them made.

Here are some pictures I have. The first one is just the hitch that replaces the bumper spreader bar, picture of the completed rear bumper installed, then a couple shots underneath where the bumper support goes back to the frame.
