Default Wishbone head idea

Ok, we are working on the RHD front axle rebuild.
The wishbone is in good shape although the ball is showing some typical wear. Has anybody here attempted to apply braze to the ball to build it back up to spec?
The seems to have potential as the braze should act as a "bushing" and improve the fit in the cups.
I know it won't last as long as steel but it should improve any slack that exists.

Measure the ball top to bottom and let us know what it is. It takes a fair amount of wear before you really need to do repairs to bring it back to size. As long as the two new cups around the ball leave a gap it will hold the ball snug.

Yes, brazing will work OK.
