1939 Fprd windshield seal
I'm trying to find the seal that fits against the body and the windshield frame with it's seal lays against. Anyone know of a good source?
Thanks! Phil Maybe I should re-phrase the question...In the pic there appears to be 2 seals- One around the frame and the other on the body of the car. It's the 2nd seal I'm trying to find. Last edited by 36 ford; 10-17-2013 at 04:25 AM. |

Re: 1939 Fprd windshield seal
There is no seal on the body of the car. The windshield opening is a formed/stamped part of the body designed to accept the windshield frame rubber seal.

Re: 1939 Fprd windshield seal
Looks like someone added a seal to try to stop the "factory leaks".

Re: 1939 Fprd windshield seal
As has been previously advised, there should be no seal on the body. Only the windshield frame held a seal in 1939.
