Default Vacuum wiper motor

Just want to clearify which of the 2 ports shown on my 61 Galaxie is for the vacuum hose .There are two...the one coming off the side or the one pointing straight down..Trying to send pics. Not having any luck

Don't now if your talking about ports on the carb or intake manifold. If the carb, it needs to have full manifold vacuum at idle. Not ported vacuum. If the intake manifold vacuum tree, then any port that is the correct diameter will have manifold vacuum.

Gotcha Merc Cruzer. I was kind of thinking that after I replied. Not 100% sure, but I think one port is for the hose, and the other a vent ? Should be able to tell by puting a vacuum hose on one or the other to see which one makes the motor move when vacuum is applied.
