An Interesting Axle Jack
The question; is there a problem jacking a car from the middle of the front axle or the banjo housing? I do both on my '46, and the car still runs and steers. However, I stopped at a small auto museum while on a driving trip through the Midwest last summer and saw this device, which looked to me like an axle jack that lifted at both ends of the axle. No one was around to get details, so I just took a pic for future reference. Any ideas of who made this device?

A jack from the Model T era which lets you jack the car up and roll it around.
