Default Wiring Problem Positive Ground Ignition

In hooking up a ignition coil on a 6 volt positive ground engine, does the switch lead connect to the positive terminal on the coil and the negative terminal on the coil to the distributor OR does the negative terminal connect to the switch lead and the positive to the distributor???? I was always taught on a positive ground system that the switch lead was connected to the negative terminal on the coil and the positive terminal went to the distributor. This info is from way back and I'm not as young as I used to be. Any help appreciated.
