Although I don't think my coupe has ever set for more than 3 weeks, I was able to get it out yesterday and run 25 miles of errands it the beautiful 70 degree sunshine. So far the engine I warmed over a year ago is running really well, 92 PSI across the board with Brumfield head, my Mitchell syncro tranny gets-sounds-works better as it get's used. Still have a few things to finish up on my brake rebuild but over-all they are working very nice. It's wonderful to crawl in the coupe, fuel on, ignition full retard, throttle pointed at the key, open the mixture 1/2 turn, pull the choke, press the starter, two compression strokes, drop the choke and she putts to life. I should've recorded some video but just wanted to enjoy the experience without the distraction. Thanks to all that have helpfully answered my questions, I've been busy with my 49 F1's engine so haven't hung around the Model A forum a whole lot. Here is a video of the 239 if you're interested;
