Not enough power up hills....
Picked up a nice 32 barn find that started and drove good except when going up slight inclines or hills.
I was only able to buy this as the previous owner claimed "it was half off" the asking price. Opened the pictured bottom end and it appears to be missing 4 cylinders, any input would be great. |

Hold on boy whatja got is an improved (1 2 3) 4 cylinder motor with fuel pump so at least you don't have to back up hills.

Kurt, I believe you have it right! As for power, I would suggest checking the rear end ratio.

That’s an easy call. If all cylinders don’t kick in when needed, your Northstar computer is obviously at fault.
