Default 34 for serial numbers

My 1934 ford truck serial number begins with the letter G (G 189999----), what does the G mean or denote. any information is greatly appreciated.

thanks, wally

Should be an 18 or a 40. But is it an imported truck into the states, or a former Government truck? My Tudor has the 40 and my other 33's I owned had the 18. I'm interested to see what yours turns out to be.

Best Regards,

Tim
