Value on a 1937 Cabriolet?
Howdy 'barners.
Sorry to bother you with a value question but I value you guy's opinion. I am selling my nice driver 1937 Cabriolet Convertible. It is an older restoration that still looks great. Super solid everywhere with many new parts like grille, bumpers, trim and new dual exhaust. New Coker radials with maybe 300 miles on them. Just had the radiator gone thru. All leather seats including the rumble seat. Very nice top with new tonneau cover. I did not have the kahunas to drill for the tonneau cover snaps ;-) It has a later model engine 8BA with older style heads. Syncro '39 box, and juice brakes. Other than that, it is rather stock. The car was assembled in Argentina and was converted to left hand drive with Ford parts. It is still sporting a km/hr speedo. I have been checking eBay and other sites but most of them are modified and I have a hard time establishing a value. What should I price it at?

I have no idea, but it looks great. I'd love to be able to afford it!

Re: Value on a 1937 Cabriolet?
I would suggest getting a couple of professional written appraisals done on the car.
Also, check with the insurance underwriters, maybe one of them can help you with the value. .

Would love to see more pics, detail stuff. What sort of hood ornament is that? You have a rare car.

I believe Haggerty Insurance has a website that lists values on antique cars based on the condition. I understand it's based on actual car sales. Never tried it myself yet though.

Re: Value on a 1937 Cabriolet?
Thanks guys for info. I think I will just throw it in an auction and let it rip.
That way I will for sure know what it is worth, right?

Rolf. Do you still have the '31 coupe? Really enjoyed your detail build on it. Admire your work.
