Question for the Alaskan A's...
Do any of you know just what assembly plant supplied Alaska with the Model A/AA's during 1928 thru 1931? Anyone?
Has anyone done any research on that aspect of Model A/AA Ford production? (Looks like it was a great tour to McCarthy)! Thanks. Pluck |

Re: Question for the Alaskan A's...
The trip to McCarthy was a hoot! Perfect Model A roads.
As to what assembly plant, most (if not all) of those I have seen were "imported" from all over the US and Canada. The logical assembly plant would have been Seattle for those that made it here during the 28-31 time frame. Mine actually came here from Southern California, but that was only 7 years ago (2010). I was told that it came from Long Beach or LA, but have not ever verified that. Others in our club came here from the mid-west or eastern states, a few from Canada. Not much help.
