Default 1931 Model A Deluxe coupe

Hello. I am new to the Model A car, and restoring it. The above listing is my car. Does this car have a rear view mirror? If so does anyone have any suggestions on it?

One book every owner should have is the Restoration Guidelines available from the parts houses.
Yes, your coupe should have a mirror inside and mounted about the center of the wood header.

TRIVIA: The FIRST, documented use of a rear view mirror was on a funny looking, YELLOW Race Car, in the FIRST Indy 500 Race, in 1912!---"Maybe" to look for falling off parts???-LOL & LOL

Do yourself a favor and order some catalogs from a few different vendors. A wealth of info and pictures, exploded drawings and descriptions in them.

I believe that all Model As came with a center rearview mirror, but no side mirrors. Those were an after-market accessory.

And Bill is right. It was Ray Harroun in the Marmon Wasp. He put it on there to eliminated the need for a 'co-driver/mechanic' who was really mostly an on-board spotter.

I agree, you should get the books. They are well-worth it.

Most passenger cars had no side mirror but there are exceptions (e.g., Town Car). Most, if not all, commercial A and AA had side mirrors.

It's my understanding that light commercial trucks did not have a factory center mirror.
