Default Re: Float A motor and noise

Update. Removed engine pans no difference. Removed the front mount lower rubber bushing (I have a shock bushing in place of the spring and washer) and lifted the front of the engine with a hydraulic jack on the stud just enough to prevent metal to metal contact between the mount and cross member. No change. Loosened the rear float a motor mounts and jacked the back of the engine with a jack under the transmission. The unpleasant drone type noise all but disappeared. There are no parts contact between the engine and chassis ie brake cross shaft etc. If someone has a magic bullet to stop the noise I would really really like to know what it is. All I want is to stop the vibration from transmitting the noise into the cabin.
