My thread on one million Model A's also revealed that club membership is not a reliable benchmark for determining the number of Model A's. So how about a poll? (See above).

What percentage of a Model A counts as a FULL car? I posted 2, but could collect the bits to almost made another. You could start the same poll on the HAMB. Bob

I thought about qualifying what constitutes a full car, but figured that's a call by the owner.

I'd like to have two, but don't have the garage space.

I'd like a junker that I could take apart and study and restore. I don't feel comfotable doing that with my only driver.

Get off that man's back he has the right to ask a question. I like it, I own 1 now but have owned as high as 6 at one time. Keep it up 700 rpm. There is alway one bad apple in the tree.

Ray, hang in there. I like the fact that you are curious. I was wondering if there was a figure that the DMVs can provide. I am grateful that I have one. They are remarkable machines and I have made some nice friendships in the circle of Model A owners.

I am guessing the most accurate count would be to go to each state's DMV and ask for number of 1928 to 1931 Fords in active and non-op status. ...and still it has some limitations, but it would be a good start.

I have one and very pleased to have it. How many Model A's there are seems like a simple question to put out there. Hard to see how it upsets some folks. I read this page each do too and am learning alot of info about my car. Thanks to all who participate. Bill
