Under body painting.
I am not fortunate enough to have access to a rotisserie, so I need ideas on painting the bottom of a roadster body. Could it be as simple as rolling it on it's side onto something like a padded quilt? It is a new Brookville tub and is currently bare metal, so I will likely shoot primer this weekend before the rust monster visits.

Re: Under body painting.
Greg, you didn't mention if the doors or the cowl panel is off of it, but with those removed, use electrical conduit to tie the top iron tab to the stanchion mount too keep the body from folding on the sills, and then with three or four people, just roll it over and set it on horses while you work the bottom.

Can you set it on its nose?

Re: Under body painting.
I did what 700rpm suggested. I made a car body hauler I could move the body around for sandblasting and painting outside. What I did was haul the body outside where I paint (I live on 10 acres, so no neighbors can complain) and slid it off the hauler and lifted the front end of the body and put a 2x4 or two under the front to prop it up. It was stable the way I propped it up. I know some people will say it is dangerous, but it worked fine. I have done this twice once for my 28 special coupe and once for my 29 phaeton. The body hauler is in the picture below
