Can you ID this mystery part on my Y-BlocK?

On my 55 F-100 project https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=273280

I have spotted an unidentified bracket with a nylon roller on a post. It is attached at the left rear, see photos, marked with a red arrow. This motor is a 292 transplant mated to a T98 4-speed. Based solely on the oil pan and dip stick (photos) it seems it came from a non-truck.
The block casting is. EDB 6015E above the oil filter
The head casting is ECG-T

Can anyone tell me what this nylon roller part is? Is has no function on my truck.

Looks like its for a clutch Zbar or crosshaft mount for a standard shift.

Now that I know what to look to for I do find that sort of thing on the web. I think I'll just remove it and set it aside.

Yes, the engine / oil pan came from a 'full sized' car. (photo 1)
Trucks and '55/'57 Birds use a rear sump oil pan. (photo 2) with the dipstick located on the side of the block, not in front. (photo 3 & 4)

Assuming the truck has clutch linkage, but it's set up differently?

Correct, the truck has an original clutch linkage for the F-100 with the 4-speed T98 transmission. A lever on the brake/clutch pedal support rod actuates the clutch from the rear. Perhaps there is more room underneath the cab in trucks vs sedans. The “z-bar “ is not used.

I noticed you have a car engine oil-pan on it. aren't you scared that when you hit a bump in the road, that the front straight axle won't pop up and crush the bottom of that oil-pan? There is a reason why they made a different oil-pan for the trucks.

Here is an image of an F100 clutch. The clutch pedal arm rotates that U-shaped shaft to pull on the lever attached to the clutch throwout bearing.

Quite a few trucks have this "feature". None, that I am aware of, have experienced catastrophic oil-pan contact. Most annoying is that the oil drain is right above the axle.

ive seen 55 trucks with the front sump pan and people said they never came this way.said the pan wouldnt clear the crossmember in front of it.
