What I got with the car was the top piece and what I need is the bottom piece. The piece is used to hold the sliding glass for the rear doors and rear quarters closed. I have 4 of the wrong piece so will make them into the correct piece. Ron Heiden was nice enough to borrow the bottom piece from a friend to show me what to do but couldn't let me take it home to Texas. Only one knob came apart easily and by luck the knobs turned out to be steel rather than pot metal. I used the Victor wrench and the knobs came off easily. I heated to red hot 3 times and quenched. I heat one more time and hit it with beeswax and then quenched. Worked great. Also posted pictures to flickr for those of you who can't see the fordbarn pictures.

Have to make two of these for the tailgate locks. Ron Heiden provided a sample which I have to return to him. I'll chuck it up into my lathe and cut them out. The slot I'll have to do manually. Also had to modify one of the two front door window tracks. What I had was two for the same side, so I flipped the piece over and re-welded some brackets.
