Default Model T body on Model A running gear

Hello everyone, I am new to this thread as well as the whole world of early Ford cars, and even just cars in general. Which brings me to my first question on this forum.

I know this may have been asked before, but I could not find any topics addressing it, so here goes. Just as the title says, I want a T model tudor sedan body on an A model chassis with A model engine/trans/rear. Could anyone point me in a direction towards some information on that subject, or even share some experience with the process? I love both cars, and find myself going back and forth between which one I want, so why not have both at once? I know some purists may think it silly, but it's something I want to have and drive for many miles. Thank you!

Probably because the owner of this forum has asked that this forum relate to "Restoration". With that said, -have you even started by setting the body onto the A frame? It is a pretty straight-forward fit with only minor brackets/holes needing altering.

I understand how you get caught up in an Idea, however I think you are taking two cars worth something and making one car that will be worth nothing. I've done things similar to this and lived to regret it.

not worth nothing, as wiOv suggests but likely worth a lot less than what you have in it.

actually that also describes most of the stock Model As I have owned

I put a 26 Model T roadster back on a frame. The back holes almost line up.

No it is not. Had a few offers around 16,000, but will not sell for that.

George, I do hope you know I was being sarcastic? I have this wacky idea of some day putting a T roadster on an A frame and running gear as well. Someday

Yep. A quick glance at Hershey will show you lots of people getting RICH on Model A frames and T bodies, but screw those things together...whoa, right down to $6 per ton and off to China to become rebar!
