1932 rad splash apron rattle
Installed the splash apron and it rattles. The rattle is coming from the very front ends. There are two holes facing in, but not sure how to attach given large bolts that hold bumper bracket to frame are directly in line with them???
Any suggestions/pics would be great. I will get some close ups tomorrow as well. Thanks, Craig |

Re: 1932 rad splash apron rattle
The two front bumper bolts are designed for the small screws. C&G has them, see attached.

Re: 1932 rad splash apron rattle
As Charlie indicates, the two special bolts with 1/4-28 threaded holes on the inner end attach the front bumper brackets to the chassis frame at the front and the two hex bolts attach the rear of the bumper brackets. The holes in the apron in front of the cutout for the cross bar attach to the special bolts with 1/2-28 slotted round head screws (originally).

Thanks David and Charlie! Guess the stainless that I have didn't have the threaded hole.
