i'd like that. if I don't like what I'm hearing I can say "wrong number" or pretend to have a bad connection and hang up.

Thanks for all comments. I decide that I really don't like the 1937 Fords coupe. The 1939 and 1940 Ford couple have a nicer roof lines. Plan on going to Hershey this year. I should be able to have a winter time project there.

Have you watched 40 coupe prices in the last few years? What I believe that I've seen, is a substantial 'going-down' trend. The 40 coupe prices for nice cars, at least at the Pomona fathers day meet, and also in Hemmings, are now in the range where I almost think I could afford one. 'Course, I'm always on guard with Hemmings ads... Seems to me that many 'dreamers' advertise there. I feel that a more realistic price can be found in my local area.
As a side note, one of my best 'Ford friends' recently passed. He left behind, two 40 coupes and two 40 Merc coupes. I'm thinking I'll be a candidate for one of the 40's, when it comes up for a new home. These are all 'known history' cars. A big plus for me.

There still a lot of Dreamer out there. The prices are down on the flat fender cars. This will be a good time to buy one. I am packing up right now going to Hershey. I have some good old green cash. Hope to find home older restored 1939 or 1940 Ford coupe. I might look at 1937 Ford but right now I think I will pass.

Good look on getting your friend cars. Peace.
