Default 48-52 Ford Pickup Clutch Linkage

Does anyone have a parts breakdown with pictures of the 48-52 Pickup clutch linkage? Thanks

I know it says f7-f8. The smaller trucks are pretty much the same with few differences. F7-F8 has two piece release shaft and ball bearing pilot bearing and housing is one piece.

I looked for a picture, can't find one. The equalizer shaft runs straight over to the frame, where that bracket with the round ball goes. In the outboard end of the shaft goes a spring and a cup which is two half bushing shells to fit around the ball. There's a grease zerk there somewhere. Then just rod and clevises back to the pedal. I think there's some pics in a couple old posts I'll look for.

Try over at FTE. There’s some really knowledgeable guys there on the trucks.

I could be all wet (again), but I thought that the F-1 through 1950 used the old "78-7006" floor shift case, which would have the famous horizontal throw-out shaft. Then I thought that '51 and '52 went to the newer-style trans case with tail shaft housing, with the newer, 6-bolt bellhousing bolt pattern, using the little short hogshead bell. Then again, I could easily be full of it! DD

The '48-'52 pickups used the 3" cast iron 1/2 bell housing with transmissions or "hogs Heads" that had integral clutch shafts, and linkage similar or the same as '40-'48 pass cars. The above pictured bell and linkage is not Ford flathead but could be 337" Lincoln flathead or 317" Lincoln ohv used in H.D trucks from '49-'52 and later.

Basicly follows the cab style...with the new 53-55 and introduction of OHV 6-cyl -52 the introduction of the new gearbox setup came into the picture...

Take a look at a car diagram they are online the difference is the pivotball mount to frame is different but ll the parts are basicly the same.

I have a truck with gearbox out in the shop i can take some pics while installing the box today.

I found the parts my customer was missing on the Early Ford Stores website. Thanks for the responses.
