Christmas came early, with a question

Big trucks that have high miles, many times,are just parked when the
owner feels they can go no further. Usually the seat cushion is worn out
and all ratty. So it goes for my 37 and 35 I am working on.

One truck has no seat or back cushion and the other has a seat that is
beyond restoration and the back might be, if push comes to shove.
I realize that I will have to buy a new seat for the 35 which might get on
the road in 2020. Then I remembered the 2nd 35 truck parked in the barn at
the farm. I bought it over 20 years ago. Took a drive down to see if the
seat was worth using.

The seat was way gone but the back support was solid. It seems something
larger than mice stripped the inside and built a huge nest on the floor
behind it. I got a stick and proceeded to poke the pile.

After about a half hour these are what I found. A lot of Ford tools, some
machinery tools and a black box. Oh,also a decent Bartels beer can.
The evidence leads me to think this truck spent a lot of time on the road.
Can only imagine the condition this stuff was in 20 years ago.

The long crank fits into the 35 crank nut and clears the bumper very well.
There are no markings.

My question is: was this 1 piece crank available aftermarket or did
other makes of trucks have compatible cranks ???

nice reflector too! i have a long handle crank just like that, when they are a buck or two at swap meets i buy em all. i would think back in the era where every motor had one whether it be a farm tractor, car, or motor for what ever, there was lots of cranks around of every size and shape
