When I was young, if they had chrome acorn nuts on the heads,
and a little chrome air cleaner, they were souped up to me.

If they had aluminum heads and 2 or 3 carbs, they were full race.

During the 30s',40'sand 50's. Most small towns had a stock car track outside of town. And 90% of the car were Fords. I'm sure all of the engines were stock, I know mine were???
