Default 32 Ford 3 window windshield regulator

Hey Guys ! I am a bit confused. Did the 32 3 window coupe have a crank out windshield ? I do not see anywhere on the body where the regulator would have been mounted. I do have a stock 3 window dash that has a spot in the center where there is a place for the crank out handle would go. Not sure what to think about this. I am a bit perplexed on this. Anyone have some pics. I am building this car from pieces.
Any help is always appreciated.
Vic

The hole in the dash was for a lighter. No geared opener was used. The windshield was held in place by swing arms like the other body styles. The mounts for the swing arms unbolted from the frame while the other styles had welded arms. The removable 3W arm mounts look like the other mounts but are in fact deeper and set the pivots more to the rear.

Oh OK ! That makes more sense. I was a bit confused . do have the windshield arms on the windshield frame. How were you to able to close the windshield ? push down on the arms to pull the windshield close then tighten the screws ?

Sheldon,

Yes; it is the combined straight and burl grains characteristic of the mid and late deluxe coupes. It was done with surviving metal grain screens as original. The photo flash makes it look more aggressive than in natural light.
