35 P/U drag link question?

All most have my truck ready for its first drive in 40 years, I noticed that the drag link is very close to the wishbone on the pass side after installing it(about a 1/4") and it touches the wishbone when I jack the driver wheel up. Could some one tell me how to identify the correct one.
