Old Henry is a mystical being. Came and went here. Some hated him for how he fixed flathead things. Most admired his travels.

I can't really add much to what has been said. I have always admired Old henry so much. Good luck in your travels, we're all rooting for you.

His stories, pictures and videos help us all experience the thrill of driving an Early V8 as they were "back in the day". Dealing with frozen wipers, common-place flat tires, amp gauges that would go hay-wire in the middle of nowhere and all the while just enjoying the trip for the adventure. "It is the journey" as he would say, not the destination.

Yeah.... Some who post here regularly were very critical of Craig and bashed him hard in responses to some of his ideas and tips. I'm sure it's one of the reasons he stopped posting here....

Always admired him for not falling for some of the BS on here. He is for real!

Craig probably put more miles on that old sedan in 4 or 5 years than most of us will in our lifetime. He was a true family man and a dog lover. I have a lot of respect for him.

I miss his many and varied ways of 'band-aiding' or jerry-rigging that poor old car, most-often contradicting reasonable advice from forum members....after asking for advice as to how to fix a problem. DD

Ahhhhhh my friend V8COOPMAN.
I agree, and yet he made his own way and had some of the best long distance adventures we've come to know and admire on here.
I admire him, we all should. He did it his way, with great input from some of the best known early V-8er's out there today.
And.........got back home after each trek.

Don't think any post would detour Henry, he seemed to enjoy the confrontation. If I remember correctly he was a lawyer.

Craig McAlister-Attorney, Orem, Utah advertised heavily as a "disability attorney", getting 'your' SS benefits for 'you'. Oddly enough, his site now says PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Here is an old YouTube video, link below! DD

PS....."Old Henry" was the car.

Hong Kong isn't mainland China, although the situation there is changing.

Like everyone else, I loved his travelogues and his photos.

Just loved the technical things I learned from his posts! And, yes, the trip logs were amazing! Serving a mission is a very common thing to do in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when one retires.

I was critical of him early on with some fixes.... till I got over it, I stopped and just watched and respected the drives. Dude never said a bad thing about anyone. He just kept doing what he was doing till he wanted to do something else. Had some motor issues but posted pictures with that little pooch. I'm not sure anyone influenced him to do anything different, I could be wrong. We pm'd a bit, was also in to rc planes. but I think Craig just wanted to do something different. He did plenty here for now. New mission.

It was always weird to me he called himself ol henry, but my name is tinker here so what ever...
